Testing
FSW administers a standardized test for grades 3-8 toward the end of every school year. The scores from this test are included in your student’s academic records and are available for parent/guardian review as soon as they are returned to the school. Please make an appointment with your student’s teacher, or the appropriate administrator, if you would like help interpreting your student’s scores. Please note that nationally standardized tests such as the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) or the Educational Records Bureau’s Comprehensive Testing Program – version 4 (CTP-4) are significantly more challenging than the End of Grade (EOG) tests administered by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
